Data we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you enter, plus a phone number if you provide one. When you write to us by email, we hold the address and the content of the correspondence.

The site also generates standard technical data, such as the pages requested and the time of the request, in the ordinary course of serving web pages. This is the routine record any web server keeps to deliver a page and to keep the site available. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not combined with the details you type into the form.

Why we process it

Personal data submitted through the form or by email is processed for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and to handle any engagement that follows from it.

We do not use contact details for marketing, we do not add them to a newsletter list, and we do not sell or rent them to third parties. If your enquiry does not lead anywhere, nothing further happens to the details you sent.

Legal basis

Processing rests on your request to be contacted and on the steps needed to answer it. You decide whether to send the form or the email; without that step there is nothing for us to process. Where an engagement results, processing also covers the performance of that arrangement and the record-keeping Hungarian business practice requires.

Where the law obliges us to keep a document, that obligation is the basis for keeping it, and it sets how long the record stays on file.

Continuation — how long we keep it

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and to keep an ordinary business record of it. If no engagement follows, the correspondence is not retained beyond that purpose.

Records connected to a completed engagement are kept for the period Hungarian accounting and record-keeping rules require. After that period they are removed in the ordinary course of our filing.

Sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Data may be handled by service providers that support the website or email, strictly to the extent needed to operate them, and by authorities where the law requires disclosure.

A provider that hosts the site or carries our email sees data only in order to run that service, under an arrangement that limits it to that job. We do not pass your details on for advertising, list building, or resale.

Security

Who can read your message

Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to those who need it to answer you.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal data through the contact form; if your matter requires it, contact us first and we will suggest a suitable route.

Field 07

Your rights

You may ask what personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion where no legal obligation requires retention, and object to processing.

Requests can be sent to [email protected] or by post to the registered seat above. We will respond within the period the applicable data protection rules allow.

  • Access Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive an answer to that question.
  • Correction Point out anything inaccurate in the details we hold and we will correct it.
  • Deletion Request removal where no legal obligation requires us to keep the record.
  • Objection Object to how your data is processed and we will look at the request and reply.

Field 08

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the current version will be published on this page. It applies from the date of publication, so the wording you are reading now is the wording in force.

Where a change affects how existing correspondence is handled, we will say so in the published version rather than leaving you to compare versions yourself.
